About Us
The architecture framework is produced and managed by the AGVRA Enterprise as directed by the U.S. Army DEVCOM Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC) Ground Vehicle Robotics (GVR) division. Within the AGVRA Ecosystem, GVR also invests in product line architectures while Army programs of record manage system architectures and Government, Industry and Academia develop emerging technology. Each domain depends upon managed participation within the AGVRA Ecosystem, with rules and guidelines established by the AGVRA Enterprise.
Although the AGVRA framework and reference architecture models are government-owned, effective technology insertion requires active participation in the AGVRA Ecosystem by industry, government, and academia. Thus, the AGVRA Enterprise consists of representatives across the ground vehicle robotics domain.
It is beneficial to all Ecosystem participants for the framework to mature, and for the library of reusable components to grow. Therefore, AGVRA users are encouraged to feed back their extensions and improvements into the AGVRA baseline.
